Condolences

Condolence From: Len Gelosa
Condolence: I met Carmen in 1971 at DCC and he took me in the field and showed me “the ropes”. When he was promoted to a marketing position, he and I ( and a few others) went to lunch every day. In those days, everyone had a nickname and his was “ Charmen Carmen”. Everyone liked and respected Carmen. He was a great water treater. He was always 100% devoted and dedicated to Ruth Anne and his family. The world would be a much better place with more people like Carmen.

Carmen was a great friend and we got along tremendously. But I can recall one time when we had a big argument. It was over the quality of a baked ziti. Carmen took his food very seriously.

I lost touch with Carmen when I left Drew in 1980. When I returned to Drew he was retired. I went on to become President of Drew but never forgot the lessons learned from a Carmen or the fun we had together.

Condolence From: Jo-Ann Wolsky
Condolence: Ruth, Linda, Frank, Tom and Pam ...

My family and I will miss Carmen who has been a good friend and neighbor for fifty-four years. He was a good family man and would help anyone who needed it ... he also had the loudest whistle of anyone I ever heard, I’ll miss that as well.

Rest In Peace, Carmen. Prayers forever.

Jo-Ann and Family

Condolence From: Valerie and John Levy
Condolence: "Mr. Verrone" was an amazing father to my dear friend Pam and her siblings. He was cool in his own way, with a mellow wit and love of wine, family, and life. I loved seeing him pump iron at the Caldwell Community Center. My sincerest condolences go out to the whole Verrone family.

Condolence From: Robert and Julia Pasquariello North Caldwell, Nj
Condolence: Carmen Verrone was a very "Old School" guy. He was sincere, honest and very helpful as my neighbor for nearly 25 years. Carmen was like having your dad living next door. Always willing to lend a helping hand or a word of advice. He cared very much for his family and grandchildren. He was a very religious man who believed deeply in God. He will be missed by many who were fortunate to have worked with or known him. May you rest in peace. Please tell Justin we miss him sooooooo much
